Logo designer: W.H. Fehr

Detailed touches: Darell Dyck, Arts & Graphic Editor for Canada Lutheran magazine.

The Water: The water represents the world in which the church ministers.

The Ship: The ship is the Church, and in this instance, also a reminder of the craft that brought the first Lutheran to Hudson Bay.

The Sails: The sails represent Canada (if you look closely you can see the map of Canada in the sails). The sails are billowing as the Spirit blows, empowering the Church to move towards the goal. (MNO is the shaded area)

The Cross: The main mast is the main stay of the Church. Even as the Spirit moves, it is always directed by and through Christ. The Cross also points to that place where the first Lutheran worship service was held on North American soil.
