New Homelessness Initiative

This is just to provide all of you with a heads up. We are launching a joint initiative with the Anglican Church of Canada to address homelessness in Canada. A joint letter was sent out to the Prime Minister on Wednesday. The public launch of this campaign will happen on Monday. A key component of this campaign is asking our members to write letters and visit their MPs. Homelessness is also a provincial and municipal issue so if you see some way of working with Anglicans to address or speak out about homelessness provincially or locally it would be greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact Ryan Andersen. My cell phone is 204.793.0935. Email randersen@elcic.ca.

I have attached the related documents for this campaign. They will be on the GHDA website (www.elcic.ca/ghda). In addition a press release was sent out on Monday.
