Who Is Eligible to Attend as a Delegate:
One lay delegate from each congregation and, from congregations having more than 300 baptized members, one lay delegate for each additional 300 baptized members or major fraction thereof;
Rostered Ministers of the MNO Synod
Lay members on Synod Council
Members of the Youth Assembly (2 youth delegates appointed from each of the 7 conferences)

Note to Rostered and Diaconal Ministers: The ELCIC will be producing a new pictorial directory in 2010. The pictures will be taken at the Synod convention. Please attempt to make yourself available to have your photograph taken during the convention.

Registration:
Information & registration packages will be emailed to all rostered ministers and congregations in January. Fees are as follows:
Lay and rostered delegates: $380
Late registration fee: $ 25
Youth Assembly delegates: No fee
Retired Rostered Ministers: No fee
Rostered Ministers Temporarily On
Leave from Call and On Leave from Call No fee
Rostered ministers in special Calls where the
calling agency is not responsible for fees: No fee

Travel and Hotel:
Delegates from congregations or calls outside of the Perimeter Highway are entitled to a paid hotel room (double occupancy.)
Delegates traveling by car from congregations or calls located outside of the Perimeter Highway are entitled to travel compensation of .20 per kilometer for the driver plus .03 per passenger.

Visitors Welcome!
Visitor Fee: $125 (includes Bulletin of Reports, Minutes, Meals, Renewal Event & Banquet Ticket)

Saturday Renewal Event:
All delegates and visitors registered for convention will attend this event at no extra cost. For those not registered for convention, the cost to attend this event only is $25.00 (includes lunch) Watch for information on the Renewal Event in the new year in Crossword.

Saturday Evening Banquet:
Convention Banquet will be held at the Coboto Centre in Winnipeg. All delegates and visitors registered for convention will receive a complimentary banquet ticket. Extra banquet tickets can be purchased through the synod office for $35.00 per ticket.
